The first division of Quality Group of Companies, the Quality Foods & Services WLL was inaugurated in the year 2001 and has made its mark already in the booming business and commercial fields of Qatar. Ship chandelling, foods & beverage supply to star hotels, supply to pantry commissary items to government & semi government companies, distributing consumer products to the major and minor supermarkets and hypermarkets in Qatar are the major areas of operation. Quality Foods & Services maintains and deals with the entire gamut of products that are usually traded in a Hypermarket.
Quality Foods has a long term commitment to a varied clientele. We understand the importance of retaining the existing customers rather than getting a new customer. To name a few of the industries we serve:

• Government and Semi-Government Companies with whom we are supplying the pantry commissary items to their varied locations on Call off Order basis.
• Ship Chandelling Companies where we are meeting the provisions requirements of vessels of various shipping companies from across the various countries.
• Supermarkets and Hypermarkets where we are supplying a handful of consumer products on retail and whole sale basis.
• Leading catering companies in Qatar where they are sourcing all the food and non food items on contract basis from our company.
• Major star hotels in Qatar where we are supplying all the food and non food items to their locations on fixed term contract basis.
• Big labour camps and staff accommodation of leading Government and other Companies.

LOGISTICS AND OPERATIONAL FACILITIES

Vehicles

Quality Foods has the solid backing of an efficient logistics system with more than 100 vehicles in our operations including freezer trucks (Thermo insulated and equipped with refrigeration unit, suitable to transport frozen and dry food stuffs with 3.5M/T of payload capacity), thermo insulated trucks (suitable to transport dry Foodstuffs and cleaning materials with 3.5M/T of payload capacity), delivery vans (with and without refrigeration unit ), pick-ups, employee transportation trucks, Saloon cars etc.

Human Resources

Quality Foods & Services has a vibrant team of workforce comprising of senior managers, middle level and operational managers, clerical staff, drivers, delivery staff and shop attendees. Specialized staff handles the consumer products. At present Quality Foods & Services WLL has more than 127 skilled and unskilled employees directly working under it.

Storage & Warehouses

We have two large warehouses located at Industrial Area, street No.1. The first one with 24000.00 sq.ft area centralized AC unit (storing chilled foodstuffs, dry foodstuffs, mineral water and soft drinks.) The other one of 9000 sq. ft area with thermo insulation to store cleaning materials and paper products. In addition, we have two cold stores in Industrial Area street No.1. and No2 with a capacity of 500MT and 300MT respectively to keep the frozen items separately. Further, we plan to increase our storage facility extensively to meet our future requirements.
