Doha: Quality Group International, the leading business group in Qatar, inaugurated their fully automatic food packing unit in Doha Industrial Area Retail Food Distribution Centre. Shamsudheen Olakara, Chairman of the Group, switched on the machine in the presence of senior officials from different departments of the company. ‘’Quality Group is going to import high quality food products to Qatar and will distribute in the brand name Q-fine to ensure quality products for customers in a reasonable price,” he said. The high-tech machine imported from Taiwan is a rare model in the Gulf. The packing unit equipped with high technology multi-head and incline conveyor is the most latest model in the country. The system will finish all processes automatically like feeding, weighing, bag filling, sealing and finish product conveying, among others. It has advantages of high accurate weighing and high efficiency. The machine with 14 head can pack 50 to 60 bags of 5kg each in a minute. Barcode, date and country of production, expiry date and other details related to products will be printed by the machine. High accuracy with less manpower is a salient feature of this most advanced multi-head weigher packaging machinery, Quality Group said in a statement yesterday.
