Quality Group International, has signed a contract with Global Real Estate Company, Doha owned by sheik Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Saud al Abdurrahman Althani to launch a new 160,000-sq-ft. Shopping Mall at Wakrah city of Qatar. The agreement was signed during an official ceremony held in Global Real Estate company Headquarters in the presence of sheik Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Saud al Abdurrahman Althani , Shamsudheen Olakara, Chairman of Quality Group, Shahid V, Executive Manager of Quality Retail Group, Ramshad, commercial Manager of Quality Retail Group and Rayees. K Media & Operations Manager of Quality Group International. sheik Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Saud al Abdurrahman Althani said: “The Mall at Wakra has undertaken extensive market research to better understand the needs and preferences of customers and so have taken a strategic approach to hand over the project to a leading retailer in Qatar. We hope that, Quality Group can provide the best shopping and leisure experience to the multi community living in Qatar, especially in the Wakra and WUkair area, and therefore we are delighted to be signing this new collaboration.” Shamsudheen Olakara said: “Being a Qatar headquartered company we are obviously thrilled to join hands with the very reputed Global Real Estate Company and to take over their Mall project at Wakrah. I am sure the brand equity of Quality Group International combined with our vast experience in retailing will help us deliver a world class shopping experience to the shoppers here.” The mall will have a full-fledged supermarket and department store spread in two floors, with ample and convenient parking facility in the basement and ground floors. The mall will also have eateries, pharmacy, money exchange, laundry and other service facilities for customers. This construction of the project is expected to be completed by the middle of 2017.
